Senior citizens take part in the People’s Parade on Friday, March 17, 2023, to commemorate the 25th Cityhood Anniversary of San Fernando City in La Union. San Fernando became a city by virtue of Republic Act 8509, signed into law on Feb. 13, 1998 and ratified on March 20,1998 through a plebiscite.
