CL police get 35 motorcycle units

FREDERICK SILVERIO

Thirty-five brand-new Honda 150cc motorcycles from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Directorate for Logistics were turned over to the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Tuesday, January 24.

PRO3 regional director BGen. Cesar Pasiwen said the distribution of dirt bikes to the various provincial police offices in Central Luzon is in line with the PNP’s Capability Enhancement program.

The blessing of the motorcycles and turnover ceremony was held at the PRO3 Parade Ground in Camp Captain Julian Olivas, City San Fernando, Pampanga.

According to Pasiwen, the motorcycles shall be distributed to police offices in Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales.

“The procurement of these motorcycles is very timely since several proactive anti-criminality campaigns in the region are very much in effect and round the clock conduct of anti-criminality checkpoints and mobile patrolling are sternly carried out,” Pasiwen said.

“With this improvement in our mobilization capability, I am in no doubt that more positive accomplishments will be achieved in the coming days and that the public can expect the PNP-PRO3 to respond better to the crisis and deliver more efficient and effective police service.”
