Embassies of Iran, Indonesia to hold webinar on Ramadan

THE National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Manila, is pleased to bring a webinar series on “Ramadan: Traditions and Cuisines.”

The activity aims to advance the Philippines’ bilateral cultural cooperation with Indonesia and Iran through deeper awareness and understanding of principles, traditions and cultures.

The webinar series will feature discussions on the traditions of Ramadan and cooking demonstrations of Halal food. The program will likewise include commemorative speeches by official representatives from the NCCA, the Indonesian Embassy and Iranian Embassy.

The activity will be held via Zoom on May 6, 20 and 27 at 2 p.m., and will be livestreamed via the NCCA, Indonesian Embassy and Iranian Embassy’s official social media pages. A pre-registration will be required to join the video conference and participants are enjoined to answer the survey at the end of the conference in order the receive certificates of participation.
