LACSON, SOTTO VISIT CAVITE

DENNIS ABRINA

GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite: Local officials here led by Mayor Antonio Ferrer and Rep. Luis Ferrer 4th gave a warm reception to Partido Reporma standard bearer Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and running mate Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto 3rd who held a town hall meeting at the General Trias Sports Park in Barangay Santiago here on Friday, December 3.

They were joined by senatorial bets Raffy Tulfo, Dr. Minguita Padilla and former PNP chief Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar. Lacson spoke before thousands of members of local tricycle operators and drivers associations and promised to get rid of corruption if elected president of the country.

Ferrer, meanwhile, told his constituents to freely choose the right candidate who can lead the country.

Let us support the Lee Kuan Yu ng Pilipinas,” Ferrer 4th said when he introduced Lacson.

Lacson, for his part, had fond memories of his visits and vacations in General Trias when he used to play with a slingshot.

Lacson and Sotto also proceeded to the provincial town hall and met with Gov. Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla and attended another meeting at Amanda Resort in Daang Amaya, Tanza with some 220 residents.
