Medals and trophies of ‘Sprint Queen’ Lydia de Vega which she won from the various competitions she participated in here and abroad are on display at her wake at the Heritage Park Chapel in Taguig City on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022. De Vega died from breast cancer at the age of 57. She will be buried at the Pandayan Memorial Park in Meycauyan, Bulacan at a date to be announced.
