FROM the University of Santo Tomas to De La Salle University and now to Colegio de San Juan de Letran.

Deo Cuajao transferred to Letran and is set to suit up for the back-toback champion Knights in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 99 men’s basketball next year.

Letran athletic director Fr. Vic Calvo, OP posted a photo of himself, coach Bonnie Tan and Cuajao on Facebook on Friday, confirming Cuajao’s transfer.

Cuajao will be redshirting in the upcoming Season 98 where Letran will shoot for its third straight title.

The 6-foot-1 Cuajao decided to change school anew after playing sparingly for the Green Archers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 84.

In eight games played for La Salle, Cuajao totalled 12 points, three rebounds and two assists.

Cuajao was supposed to play for the UST Growling Tigers, but he left the team after the controversial“Sorsogon bubble”in 2020.

Cuajao transferred to La Salle along with former teammate Mark Nonoy, but his limited playing time prompted Cuajao to transfer again, this time to Letran, where he will reunite with former UST teammates Brent Paraiso and Ira Batiller.
