Commonwealth motorcycle lane to become official

THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Thursday that the motorcycle lane on Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City will strictly be implemented beginning March 20, 2023.

The dry-run for the traffic scheme that started on March 9 will end on March 19.

MMDA spokesman Melissa Carunungan said in a radio interview that MMDA traffic enforcers and Department of Public Works and Highways personnel will man the area.

The lanes are marked with reflectors and illuminated by solar street lights to be visible at night.
