#ThatFairmontFeeling a decade on

FAIRMONT Makati celebrated its 10th anniversary in style with grand festivities that brought together esteemed guests, business partners, top event organizers and media friends.

The festivities featured an exquisite showcase of fine food and drinks, creative-themed spaces and special surprises that marked a decade of excellence in hospitality. Gracing the event were Fairmont Hotels & Resorts CEO Mark Willis, AyalaLand Hotels and Resorts Corporation President Javi Hernandez and Fairmont Makati’s Cluster General Manager Bernd Schneider, among other notable attendees.

The celebration was held at the hotel’s Grand Ballroom, which was transformed into three themed spaces inspired by the newly published coffee table book, “Fairmont: Grand By Design.”

The White Room featured a hall of fame of prestigious guests who have stayed at the hotel over the past 10 years and an installation recreating the famous 1969 peace protest “bed-in” held by The Beatles’ John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montreal.

Through the evening, guests enjoyed the “Classics Perfected” cocktail line, signature concoctions served in Fairmont hotels worldwide, while vibing to lounge music played by the hotel’s resident DJ.

In the adjacent Gray Room, Executive Chef Bela Rieck curated a four-course dinner inspired by milestones and moments from unique Fairmont properties across the globe, paired with a fine selection of champagnes and wines. Guests experienced the Fairmont branded playlist while enjoying their sumptuous dinner.

The celebration saw an after-party in the Black Room, where Mel Villena’s 10-piece AMP Band brought the house down. Indeed, the evening evoked memories of jazz parties and live performances that Fairmont Hotels worldwide are known for. #ThatFairmontFeeling is sure to go on.
