Pyro makers, dealers hold safety seminar

THE Philippine Pyrotechnics Manufacturer Dealers Association Inc., together with the Philippine National Police Civil Security Group-Firearms and Explosive Office, conducted a seminar at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium on Wednesday to refresh stakeholders about safety practices in the manufacturing, sales, distribution, and proper use of these products.

The safety seminar is said to be a requirement for getting a license for retailers, manufacturers, dealers, and display operators.

Attending the seminar as guest of honor and speaker was Gov. Daniel Fernando who reminded the attendees how important it is to be knowledgeable about various safety protocols when it comes to handling fireworks.

The seminar was also attended by the chief of staff and concurrent provincial cooperative and Enterprise Development head, lawyer Jayric Amil and some police officials like RCSU3 Col. Nolie Asuncion, FEO acting chief Col. Paul Kenneth Lucas, and Bulacan PPO Provincial Director Relly Arnedo.
