RED MENDOZA

ST. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) has launched its first off-site outpatient center in the south of Metro Manila to cover its expanding clientele there.

The St. Luke’s Outpatient Care Services center located at SM City BF Parañaque offers a comprehensive range of blood and dialysis services to the community.

In a statement, St. Luke’s said the launch of the off-site outpatient center is an important milestone as “it marks the first step toward providing quality and accessible health care to the people of Parañaque City and surrounding areas.” It added that people from the area will no longer have to travel to the hospital’s Quezon City and Global City branches in search of quality health care services.

The outpatient facility was inaugurated by Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez together with SLMC president Dr. Arturo de la Peña and SLMC executive vice president Dr. Dennis Serrano.

The outpatient facility consists of 50 dialysis machines and 15 stations for dialysis patients aimed at providing quality care for patients who require renal care.

It also has three consultation rooms that will allow patients to be given personalized treatment plans that are tailored to their individual needs, as well as advanced technology to provide accurate diagnostic test results, such as clinical chemistry, serology, microbiology, microscopy, blood bank, hematology and cellular immunology.

The facility has an ongoing promotion where one can avail of a 50 percent discount for all blood-related laboratory procedures and 30 percent for hemodialysis services until the end of the year.

It is open from 7 a.m. to

7 p.m. and is located at the ground floor of SM City BF Parañaque, near SM Supermarket.
