Stars and stylistas celebrate Corso Como 88 developments

CORSO Como 88 celebrated its space expansion and launched a new range of European brands to add to its extensive collection at Ayala The 30th in Pasig City.

With a Euro Night Out theme, luxury fashion brands Pinel et Pinel, A.P.C., Jacquemus, Acne Studios, Sequoia, Lancaster, Gianni Chiarini, By Far and Buti Italia took center stage in an event attended by showbiz stars and the stylish set.

French luxury brand Pinel et Pinel is a master in leather goods and creating innovative trunks. What was once a mission to go against the grain of Parisian fashion, APC has established itself as the cool girl’s go-to for chic pared-down basics and closet staples.

In honor of founder Simon Porte Jacquemus’s mother, Jacquemus stood out in the fashion industry thanks to its unconventional and fresh interpretation of fashion.

The Stockholm-based fashion house Acne Studios perfects the use of the word eclectic, while leather goods house Sequoia combines classic and timeless designs with innovative and nonconforming trends to create dynamic collections.

Since launching in the 1990s, Lancaster Paris has successfully built its international presence with its range of quality French leather goods and accessories.

Gianni Chiarini combines the best artisan craftsmanship and traditional Italian leather giving rise to iconic and versatile pieces.

Founded by three sisters, By Far is a designer accessories brand specializing in timeless silhouettes.

Last but certainly not least, Buti Italia, a family’s passion project, has grown into a brand that advocates the marriage of tradition and innovation to create timeless leather pieces.

and shares Corso Como 88’s goal of making premium pieces with high-quality craftsmanship more accessible and affordable.

The event was hosted by fashion icons Laureen Uy and Camile CoKoro. TV personality and singer Issa Pressman entertained the crowd with her original songs together with the beats of DJ Euric.

Spotted in the crowd were Yassi Pressman, Ruffa Guttierez and Phoemela Baranda, among others.

“Corso Como espouses self-expression and individuality. We want you to treat yourself with fashion accessories that you deserve,” enthused Corso Como 88 COO Imelda Menguito-Sciandria, a most generous host, putting up all her pieces at a special discount that evening.

The newly-expanded Corso Como 88 is on the upper ground floor of the mall.
