Belle Mariano and her summer ready-outfits

BY IZA IGLESIAS

BELLE Mariano — one of this generation’s brightest young stars — continues to impress the audience with her versatility as an actress, as shown in her movies “Four Sisters Before the Wedding,” “He’s Into Her,” “Love is Color Blind,” and most recently, “An Inconvenient Love.” But aside from acting, many fans also admire the 20-yearold on fashion-wise.

During the launch of global fashion and lifestyle e-retailer Shein’s summer collection at Bloom Pop-Up Showroom, Mariano credited her younger sister and her stylist for establishing her look.

“My sister helps me style myself whenever I go out especially if it’s last minute. I’ll be like ‘Daniela, can you help me pick an outfit from Shein?

She’s actually very good so I take my fashion advice from her and of course, Ms. Adrianne Concepcion as well,” the TV and social media darling shared in an interview.

Mariano also loves to experiment when it comes to dressing up, getting ideas from Concepcion and another style icon, Valeria Lipovetsky. According to her, there’s no such thing as fashion no-no.

“You can play around with fashion and I think fashion is really more of your comfort zone,” she said.

For this summer, Mariano is excited to check out Shein’s latest summer collection to update her wardrobe for the season.

“With a wide selection to choose from, I can easily find new pieces that can match my existing wardrobe,” she mentioned.

When asked about her go-to summer outfit, she added, “I like dresses. But I think it really depends on my mood. Last summer, I’m into shorts but right now, I’m really into something that’s free flowing and floral too.”

Shein’s new styles from the capsule collection are currently on display in the brand’s second popup showroom located at Glorietta 2 at Palm Drive Activity Center, Glorietta 2. This is also the first time that Shein will feature men’s outfits.

Incorporating a mix of classic cuts and trendy pieces, the collection includes inclusive sizing that can be mixed and matched to express different styles. The collection also includes a variety of bags, shoes, and accessories to complement and personalize each look.

“I am very grateful that I got to have this type of family that’s very caring. Shein is an app that I’ve been using ever since and to be able to be here in their pop-up event, to be able to wear Shein, it’s really a testament,” Mariano said.

“What I usually get from Shein are their amazing jeans as well as dresses, shoes, shirts and tank tops. But actually, everything here is must-haves because honestly, when you start clicking something, you can’t stop. The clothes are so amazing,” she added.

For this coming Holy Week, Mariano and her family are planning to go to Singapore. Of course, for her OOTDs, she will be bringing her Shein clothes.

“I’m just going to spend time with my family. We were supposed to go to Singapore last December to celebrate the holidays there but then we had other plans here in the Philippines instead, so we’re pushing it now,” she shared.

“Everything I will wear there in Singapore is from Shein. I promise you, even if you peek at the luggage I packed, it’s all Shein,” Mariano finally said.

Shop the Summer Collection with ease on the app, and don’t miss the brand’s second pop up at Glorietta 2 which is available until this Sunday, April 2.
