DASMA SHOOTING SUSPECT NABBED IN TRECE MARTIRES

THE suspect in the shooting of two individuals in Barangay Paliparan 3, Dasmariñas City was arrested by authorities in Barangay Conchu, Trece Martires City on Tuesday. Led by acting Dasmariñas City Police chief LtCol. Juan Oruga Jr., the SWAT team and investigation section conducted a hot pursuit operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect who was identified only as Alyas Tone, a minor, at 10:12 a.m. in Adelina Subdivision, Purok 5, Barangay Conchu. The police said one of the victims, identified as Vanessa Padilla, was about to buy a prepaid load when she noticed two groups fighting in the area. She then saw the suspect holding an improvised handgun or “sumpak” and fired shots at Prince Julien Persia who was running in her direction. Padilla and Persia sustained wounds and were immediately brought to the Pagamutan ng Dasmariñas for medical treatment, while alias Tone, a member of the True Brown Style (TBS) Gang, immediately fled the scene bringing with him the firearm he used.
