DINALUPIHAN, Bataan: Two unidentified men shot and killed a Pakistani inside the resort that he owned in Barangay J.C. Payumo in Dinalupihan, Bataan Tuesday afternoon.

Capt. Michelle Agnetha Gaviola, Bataan police information officer, said a male gunman wearing a bonnet and black shirt and another wearing a white shirt shot Imran Akhtar, 44, inside the Aryan Resort.

Gaviola said that upon receiving a report of the shooting incident, personnel from the Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station led by Chief of Police LtCol. Joel Aparejado proceeded to the resort and found the body of the victim.

She said the investigation showed that the victim entertained the suspects who were inquiring about the resort before he was shot to death.

Jenna Manalang Akhtar, the wife of the Pakistani, said she was on the second floor of the resort building when her mother informed her that two guests were booking the resort for the next day.

She then heard three gunshots and when they rushed downstairs, they saw two men on a motorcycle leaving the resort.

She claimed that in the 18 years that they were married, her husband did not have an enemy.
